About the IB
Founded in 1968, the International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation offering four highly respected programs of international education that develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. Schools must be authorized, by the IB organization, to offer any of the programmes.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) aims to do more than other curricula by developing inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who are motivated to succeed.
Benefits for Students
IB World Schools students develop strong academic, social and emotional characteristics. They are also likely to perform well academically- often better than students on other programmes.
Students on the IB Diploma Programme (DP) are likely to enroll at top universities, and students on the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) outperform other students in a number of areas.
Programmes
The International Baccalaureate (IB) offers a continuum of international education. The programmes encourage both personal and academic achievement, challenging students to excel in their studies and in their personal development.
In order to teach IB programmes, schools must be authorized. Every school authorized to offer IB programmes is known as an IB World School.

| Research suggests many benefits to choosing the DP. The programme aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge- students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically.

The CP is a framework of international education addressing the needs of students engaged in career-related education. It leads to further/higher education apprenticeships or employment.
